At this critical juncture in our nation’s social landscape, we can help launch a place where folks can choose and shape the birthing experience on their terms.
Neighborhood Birth Center will be Boston’s first freestanding community birth center, a home/spa-like place where highly trained midwives provide prenatal, labor and birth, and postpartum care. A sanctuary that centers families of color and queer families.
Melony recently teamed up with Sheena Collier of Boston While Black and Deb Danger of Danger Law to co-host a brunch fundraiser to support the launch of the birth center. The event has raised over $7,000 so far.
